Immigration Options<<Back Skilled Graduate VisaAs of September 2007, the Department of Immigration and Citizenship created the Skilled Graduate(subclass485) visa. This visa enables students who have studied in Australia for two years to continue living in Australia for 18 months. During this time, the applicants can acquire extra points towards skilled migration in three ways. First, they can continue studying english so that they can optain a score of 7 in each band of the IELTS exam, which will grant them 25 points on the points test for skilled migration. Second, they can work full time for one year in their nominated profession which will give them an extra 10 points. Last if they are either Information Technology or Accounting graduates, they can enroll in a professional year, which will also grant them 10 points. We have the facilities to place them in the DIAC gazetted professional year. <<Back
